Mike ‘The Drifter’ Flanigin announces upcoming ZZ TOP tour support dates and New Band

That Lil’ Ol’ Band From Texas, ZZ Top has added mike ‘the Drifter’ flanigin as the support act for selected dates on their 2024 North American Tour. And as the song goes… gimme a ‘T’ for Texas, gimme a ‘T’ for Tennessee.  The Texas Hammond B3 king will bring a dynamic duo from Tennessee along for the ride: young guitarist McKinley James, and drummer Jason SMay (JD McPherson).  Highlighting songs from Flanigin’s latest Sony Music/The Orchard release West Texas Blues, this band is sure to bring the heat!

Mike ‘The Drifter’ Flanigin announces recording with the McCoury Brothers & Bluegrass All-Stars

The Drifter meets some of great Bluegrass players of our time: Ronnie McCoury (mandolin), Rob McCoury (banjo) of the del mccoury band, Deanie Richardson (Fiddle), Guthrie Trapp (guitar), Mike Bub (bass). The recording sessions will take place at Brook Sutton’s ‘The studio nashville’…STAY TUNED
